We The Kings’ use of catchy pop beats, cheerful melodies, and impressive instrumentals has made them one of the most well known alternative/pop punk bands in this day and age. With hits such as “Check Yes Juliet,” “Heaven Can Wait,” “She Takes Me High,” and “Say You Like Me,” this Floridian band has toured ever since 2005. We The Kings has toured heavily over the past decade to build their fanbase, gain exposure, and to simply perform and allow people to enjoy the music they create. The band embarked on their first tour, Don’t Die Cindy, in 2005 under the name Broken Image along with Boys Like Girls who were unknown at the time. Long Hair Don’t Care was their next headlining tour along with The Cab, Valencia, and Sing It Loud.Their first self-titled album released in 2007 and spent fifteen weeks on the Billboard Top 200. To support this album, We The Kings went on the Tourzilla tour with Boys Like Girls and All Time Low. To start off 2009, We The Kings headlined The Secret Valentine Tour and played the Bamboozle Roadshow tour. Later that year they released their second album, Smile Kid, and headlined yet another tour then traveled to the UK to support You Me at Six and Forever the Sickest Kids. This album featured hit song “We’ll Be A Dream” with Demi Lovato which peaked at 67 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band even toured Australia, the Philippines, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, and more European countries. Sunshine State of Mind, the band’s third album, won the MTV Music Video Award for Most Innovative Music Video of the Year for their song “Say You Like Me,” and sparked interest in a world tour with Simple Plan. The fourth album, Somewhere Somehow, released in December 2013 and the band traveled with Warped Tour on the main stage that summer. Their most recent album, Strange Love, was released in November 2015 with an evolved, pop sound. They are scheduled to travel with Warped Tour 2016 and to release a greatest hit album titled So Far.
