Nikon at Jones Beach Theater

The Nikon Theater at Jones Beach is an outdoor amphitheater located at Jones Beach State Park, one of two major outdoor arenas in the New York Metropolitan area. This theater originally opened as the Jones Beach Marine Theater in 1952 and served as a stage to musicals and operetta. Theatrical productions were popular and included shows that are on broadway today such as The King and I and Fiddler on the Roof. In 2006, Nikon bought the naming rights and gave the venue the name we know today. The theater can hold up to 15,000 people and it’s not uncommon for concerts to sell out from mid-May to early September. Floor seats give you the perfect view of the performers while seats up top have a beautiful scenic view of the water with big screens and the performers in the middle. Either way, both tickets are worth it because concerts at Jones Beach are unforgettable.
