The Brooklyn Academy of Music in Fort Greene is hosting the second annual RadioLoveFest from May 5th until May 10th. Sit in as an audience member to some of your favorite NPR and WNYC podcasts, jam out to some new tunes, or enjoy a brief film throughout the series. It’s the perfect opportunity to go behind the radio and see the faces responsible for some of your favorite programs.

Radiolab, Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me, and Snap Judgment are just a few of the popular podcast shows that will air live at BAM. On top of that is a chance to sit in on The Moth and Radio Diaries storytelling event hosted by Molly Ringwald under the theme “Don’t Look Back: Stories from the Teenage Years.” If you need a few laughs, enjoy the Bullseye Comedy Night hosted by Jesse Thorn, or rock out with some Morrissey and The Smiths reimagined with Mexican influences for Mexrrissey: Mexico Loves Morrissey. The film series includes a screening of Naked Lunch hosted by David Garland alongside composer Howard Shore, Federico Fellini’s touching I Vitelloni hosted by Arun Venugopal, and David Bowie’s The Man Who Fell to Earth hosted by John Schaefer with philosopher Simon Critchley.

It’s five days packed with music, film, conversation, and so much more that’ll have your brain twirling and your heart throbbing. Join in the festivities and grab a ticket to your favorite event today!
