Stephen Colbert, former host of Comedy Central’s The Colbert Report, took over The Late Show from long-time host David Letterman on September 8th, 2015. The show will airs weeknights at 11:35pm on CBS.
Ticket Info: To get advance tickets, you may register online. A limited number of standby tickets are available on the day of the taping you wish to attend. Late Show staff members will begin distributing tickets at 2:00pm. Tickets will cease to be issued after 3:15pm OR when the theater has reached its maximum occupancy. We strongly recommend arriving early as tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. All shows are overbooked to ensure capacity, and no one is guaranteed entry.
Show Requirements: You must be 16 or older to attend. Studio audience members must bring a government-issued photo ID (the name, address and birth date must match those submitted during the in-person ticket application). No cell phones, pagers, cameras or recording devices allowed. Backpacks, luggage and shopping bags will not be permitted. Smaller bags (purses) will be allowed but may be searched by the security team before entering the theater. Due to the large volume of requests for tickets, you may only attend a taping once in a six-month period.
Location: Ed Sullivan Theater, 1697 Broadway (bet. W. 53rd and W. 54th Sts.)
Schedule: Late Show tapes Monday through Wednesday at 4:30pm and two shows on Thursdays, at 3:30 and 6pm. For more information, call 212-975-5853.
