The NFL has finally confirmed that Katy Perry will be the headline performer for the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show on February 1st, 2015. Succeeding last year’s performance by Bruno Mars, which was the most-watched halftime show ever, and following in the footsteps of other female artists to headline the event such as Beyonce and Madonna, Katy Perry will look to put her own stamp on the tradition.
