Janet Jackson excited fans when she announced that she was in the studio making music again. On Monday she revealed that she is set to hit the road this summer for a new world tour. The tour will support Unbreakable, her first studio album in seven years! The tour will consist of 36 dates in 32 cities starting August 31 in Vancouver, Canada. Her first show in the United States will take place September 11., in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As this is the pop star’s first tour in four years, the show is on the road up until November 12. The Rhythm Nation singer has already opened up dance auditions for her tour, and uploaded a video to her Twitter displaying this! In the clip a bunch of energetic dancers are shown dancing at CenterStaging Studio 11 in Burbank, California.
‘Auditioning for Janet feels like a dream fantasy,’ a dancer mentioned in a voiceover.
‘I promise you’d hear it from my lips and now you will. This year: new world tour, a new movement. I’ve been listening. Let’s keep the conversation going,’ she stated in a video teaser online.
