SUMMARY:Kansas: Leftoverture 40th Anniversary Tour
DESCRIPTION:KANSAS has spent more than four decades as a part of the soundtrack of the lives of multiple generations of music lovers. The band’s first public statement appeared on their self-titled album in 1974. “From the beginning\, we considered ourselves and our music different and we hope we will always remain so.” Little did this legendary rock group realize that back in the early ‘70’s\, what seemed to be “different\,” was actually ahead of its time. \nThis “garage band” from Topeka released their debut album in 1974 after being discovered by Wally Gold\, who worked for Don Kirshner. \nThe band has produced eight gold albums\, three sextuple-Platinum albums (Leftoverture\, Point of Know Return\, Best of KANSAS)\, one platinum live album (Two for the Show)\, and two one million-selling gold singles\, ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ and ‘Dust in the Wind.’ KANSAS appeared on the Billboard charts for over 200 weeks throughout the ‘70’s and ‘80’s and played to sold-out arenas and stadiums throughout North America\, Europe and Japan. ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ was the #2 most played track on classic rock radio in 1995 and went to #1 in 1997. \nIn 1998\, KANSAS released an orchestral album; “Always Never the Same\,” recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London. They followed with an orchestral tour accompanied by top-caliber symphony orchestras. \nIn 2000 KANSAS went back into the studio with original band member and songwriter Kerry Livgren to produce “Somewhere to Elsewhere\,” the first album featuring all 6 of the original players in 20 years! The ten new songs were written by Kerry Livgren and recorded in his studio in Topeka\, KS. Players included: Phil Ehart\, Billy Greer\, Dave Hope\, Kerry Livgren\, Robby Steinhardt\, Steve Walsh and Richard Williams. \nKANSAS in 2002\, released a state-of-the-art DVD using the latest technology in film\, audio and visual design\, entitled “Device-Voice-Drum.” The DVD was the driving force behind the 2002/2003 tour. \nSony Music released a boxed set in 2004 titled “Sail On” which featured unique KANSAS cuts as well as vintage video footage on the included DVD disc. \nIn 2006\, Kansas\, released the two-disc (one CD/one DVD) anthology “Works In Progress.” Material was taken from a decade’s worth of studio and live albums and home videos — 1992’s ‘Live At The Whisky\,’ 1995’s ‘Freaks Of Nature\,’ 1998’s ‘Always Never The Same’ and 2002’s ‘Device Voice Drum. \nIn 2009\, in their hometown of Topeka\, KANSAS celebrated their 35th Anniversary with a symphonic concert\, accompanied by the Washburn University Symphony Orchestra\, conducted by Larry Baird. The DVD release “There’s Know Place Like Home” captured this unique live performance and featured special guests Kerry Livgren & Steve Morse with spectacular lighting and high-resolution clarity. Available on both DVD and Blu- Ray\, “There’s Know Place Like Home” includes favorites such as ‘Dust In The Wind\,’ ‘Carry On Wayward Son’ and ‘Point of Know Return’ as well as a sampling from each album in their discography\, with a special symphonic touch. \nInspired by their 35th Anniversary DVD “There’s Know Place Like Home\,” KANSAS conducted their ‘Collegiate Symphony Tour’ from 2010-2012 performing their hits accompanied by various college and university symphonies throughout the United States to help raise funds and awareness for collegiate music programs. In 2011\, this tour lead to a special collaboration with the US Army Orchestra culminating in the ‘Carry On Concert’ honoring America’s veterans on Veteran’s Day 11/11/11 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington\, DC. \nCoinciding with the celebration of their 40th anniversary\, the band KANSAS\, was inducted into both the Kansas Hall of Fame and the Georgia Music Hall of Fame as recognition for their achievements from both their native state and adopted home state. KANSAS signed a new recording contract with InsideOut Music in late-2015. The band’s 15th studio album is scheduled to be released Fall 2016. \nThe band\, which is currently comprised of original drummer Phil Ehart\, bassist/vocalist Billy Greer\, keyboardist David Manion\, vocalist/keyboardist Ronnie Platt\, violinist/guitarist David Ragsdale\, and original guitarist Richard Williams\, continues to perform in front of large and enthusiastic audiences around the world. \nAlong with touring\, KANSAS continues to remain a fixture of Classic Rock radio and has reached a whole new audience through their unmistakable presence on the popular video games Rock Band and Guitar Hero\, and through their songs inclusion in various television shows such as ‘Supernatural\,’ and ‘South Park\,’ and with films ‘Old School\,’ and ‘Anchorman.’

SUMMARY:Jay Leno
DESCRIPTION:Jay Leno was the host of NBC’s late-night program The Tonight Show from 1992 to 2009 and from 2010 until 2014\, when he was replaced by Jimmy Fallon. Jay Leno first gained fame as a standup comedian with intense work habits: he reportedly toured 300 nights a year during the late 1980s. He eventually became a regular vacation stand-in for the legendary Johnny Carson\, who hosted The Tonight Show for nearly 30 years. When Carson retired in 1992\, Jay Leno got the job full-time. Jay Leno is known as a gentle and unthreatening comic with mass-market appeal\, and he is often kidded about his sizable chin. (His book Leading With My Chin was published in 1998.)

SUMMARY:Crown the Empire: The Retrograde Tour
DESCRIPTION:Since bursting onto the scene in 2011 with their debut EP\, “Limitless”\, Crown The Empire have shown no signs of slowing down. 2012 brought the band to the forefront with their debut full-length\, “The Fallout”\, and a cocktail of world tours\, magazine covers\, and die hard fan dedication ensued\, pushing ‘The Fallout’ to sell over 85\,000 copies to date. Their sophomore follow up ‘The Resistance: Rise of the Runaways’ further explored the conceptual world within their previous release\, and was greeted with even more enthusiasm\, reflected in the 75\,000 copies sold in half the time of their previous effort. \nIn 2016\, Crown The Empire released their new album ‘Retrograde’. This record sees a departure from the conceptual world that defined their past efforts\, and instead the band takes you on a voyage into the reality of their lives as a band of twenty-something’s growing up under a spotlight\, and the way they see the world around them. Bathed in cinematic production reminiscent of the space epics ‘Interstellar’ or ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’\, combined with blistering guitar riffs comparable to the likes of ‘Incubus’ or other alt-rockers of a time gone by\, Crown The Empire have made their identity known with Retrograde\, proving they have the song-writing prowess backed by an understanding and aptitude for cultural identity that has them ready to stand amongst the giants. \nThere is nothing fake about Retrograde. The 13 song LP blends seamlessly from track to track\, allowing fans to truly embrace Crown The Empire as a soundtrack to their lives in an unparalleled way. Nothing is holding Crown back from being one of the biggest bands in rock\, and ‘Retrograde’ marks only the beginning of what will be a cultural impact the world over.

SUMMARY:Doug Loves Movies: The 12 Guests of Xmas
DESCRIPTION:High Time magazine’s Stoner of the Year for 2006\, comedian/actor/filmmaker Doug Benson is known for his pot humor\, but he’s also been able to put the bong down long enough to appear on VH1’s Best Week Ever\, NBC’s Last Comic Standing\, and other less herb-friendly television shows. The college dropout moved from San Diego to Los Angeles to try his hand at acting\, but when his friend dared him to jump on-stage during a comedy club’s open-mike night\, Benson was hooked. Years and years of touring took him to 2004\, when his off-Broadway co-creation The Marijuana-Logues saw its original cast recording released through the Comedy Central record label. In the summer of 2007\, he was the sixth runner-up on the reality competition series Last Comic Standing\, and in September he landed a track on the edgy comedy compilation Comedy Death-Ray. By the end of the year\, his documentary Super High Me — a docu-parody of Morgan Spurlock’s Super Size Me — was premiered at the Woodstock Film Festival. The film landed on DVD in 2008\, as did Benson’s first album\, Professional Humoredian. A year later\, he released Unbalanced Load\, his first full album for the Comedy Central label. Hypocritical Oaf followed in 2010 with Potty Mouth arriving the next year. His 2012 effort\, Smug Life\, was a multi-CD set\, and while both discs featured basically the same act\, one of them was delivered sober and the other was delivered stoned.

SUMMARY:The Brian Setzer Orchestra - 13th Annual Christmas Rocks Tour
DESCRIPTION:Iconic guitarist\, songwriter\, vocalist and 3-time Grammy-award-winner\, is a “Musician’s Musician” credited with continually taking chances with innovative and daring musical styles\, while single-handedly resurrecting two forgotten genres of music (rockabilly in the ‘80’s and swing in the ’90’s). Along the way\, he has scored chart-topping hits\, sold 13 million records and received the Orville H. Gibson Lifetime Achievement Award throughout his decorated career as founder/leader of the Stray Cats\, his 18-piece Brian Setzer Orchestra\, and as a solo artist. He is consistently cited as one of the world’s greatest living guitarists\, and has a best-selling\, extensive line of elite Gretsch signature model guitars bearing his name. Brian appeared in the 1987 film\, La Bamba\, portraying rockabilly pioneer Eddie Cochran. In 2002\, Brian earned the privilege of being one of the few musicians to be animated in an episode of “The Simpsons\,” alongside Mick Jagger\, Keith Richards and Tom Petty. That same year\, Setzer was personally requested to induct Chet Atkins into the 17th Annual Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In 2014\, SETZER received the distinct honor of being asked by the Smithsonian Museum in Washington\, D.C. to donate a replica of his original 1959 Gretsch 6120 “Stray Cat” guitar\, joining an elite collection of musical instruments at the museum including Dizzy Gillespie’s trumpet and John Coltrane’s saxophone.

SUMMARY:Dinosaur Jr.
DESCRIPTION:Let’s face facts — in 2016 it is remarkable that there’s a new Dinosaur Jr. album to go ape over. After all\, the original line-up of the band (J Mascis\, Lou Barlow & Murph) only recorded three full albums during their initial run in the 1980s. Everyone was gob-smacked when they reunited in 2005. Even more so when they opted to stay together\, as they have for 11 years now. And with the release of Give a Glimpse\, this trio has released more albums in the 21st Century than they did in the 20th. It’s enough to make a man take a long\, thoughtful slug of maple-flavored bourbon and count some lucky stars. \nOf the 11 songs presented\, nine are J’s. Mascis has had so many projects going at various times — from the retro glam of Sweet Apple to the metal dunt of Witch to the ostrich-rock overload of Heavy Blanket — it’s always a little shocking he can compartmentalize well enough to keep his tunes with Dinosaur Jr. sounding so instantly recognizable. Which is not to say they’re interchangeable\, it’s just that he has a very idiosyncratic way of structurally assembling and presenting the songs. Even when they’re not being played in concert (with amps turned to 12\, and vibrating ’til they glow red).the way he hits his guitar strings has a unique quality that immediately lets you know you’re listening to Dino. It’s a very cool trick\, and something only a small percentage of guitarists ever manage. \nThe other two songs here were written and sung by Lou\, and they’re quite great as well. Although Barlow’s template and palette are more mercurial and shifting (as they are with his other ongoing projects\, like Sebadoh)\, the two here have a consonant resonance. Both songs carry the same vibe as Roger McGuinn’s great early sides with the Byrds (although this has to do more with spirit than specific notes)\, reminding us that albums like Fifth Dimension and Notorious Byrd Brothers were among the main models for East Coast bands like the Soft White Underbelly. “Love Is…” and “Left/Right” represent the same kind of style displacement. \nMascis’ songs offer a lot of formal style moves as well. Over the last three decades\, J’s songwriting has continued to pursue confusion\, isolation and mis-communication as its main themes\, but he has really worked on the craft of songwriting\, and he’s constantly improving his ability to convey these feelings rather than merely inhabit them. “Lost All Day” might be the most eloquently sad of the songs on Give a Glimpse\, but my favorite is probably “Mirror\,” which comes off like the best song Blue Oyter Cult didn’t record for Agents of Fortune. The opening (and repeating) line\, “I’ve been crawling around since I met you\,” branded itself onto my brain the instant I heard it. But then\, “Goin’ Down” (not the Freddie King tune) is a stone classic as well. And “Tiny” has the prettiest pop architecture. “Be A Part” continually makes me flash on the first time I heard “Cowgirl in the Sand.” “I Told Everyone” is almost like a Bowie tribute when you hear it from another room. “Good to Know” has the record’s most insane guitar solo. “I Walk for Miles” contains the most thuggish riffs. “Knocked Around” features the most elegant use of falsetto. And the whole damn thing is great. \nWith all the insanity that is stalking the Earth in 2016\, it’s nice to have something to rely on. Who’d’ve dared to think it’d be Dinosaur Jr.?

SUMMARY:Kane Brown - Ain't No Stoppin Us Now Tour
DESCRIPTION:Kane Brown was hand-selected by Outbreak Presents and deemed their next discovery-worthy artist for 2016. Now in its fifth consecutive year\, Outbreak Presents has featured the biggest breakthrough artists including past headliners Kendrick Lamar\, Macklemore\, Iggy Azalea\, Cole Swindell\, and Fetty Wap before they were household names. Known for pairing new talent with a fan-friendly ticket prices\, Outbreak Presents encourages fans to discover what’s next. \n“I’m so excited to announce that we are doing the ‘Ain’t No Stopping Us Now’ tour with Monster Energy and Outbreak\,” says Kane Brown. “This fall tour is going to be bigger and better than anything we’ve done so far and I can’t wait for all the fans out on the road to see the show.” \n“Kane Brown is synonymous with the Outbreak\, explains Steven Ljubicic\, General Manager at Outbreak Presents. “He’s a man of his time and we look forward to continuing the trajectory of sold out shows on what will be his biggest headlining tour to date.” \nGrowing up in his hometown of Fort Oglethorpe\, Georgia–a small town just outside of Chattanooga\, Tennessee-RCA Nashville’s Kane Brown sang everything from Shania Twain to George Strait. The classic country songs were comfortable territory for the young singer\, whose deep drawl immediately garners comparisons to Josh Turner and Chris Young. After a self-released cover of Lee Brice’s “I Don’t Dance” went viral\, the budding songwriter discovered his following had now become its own social community and his intimate relationship with his more than 2.5 million fans across socials vaulted his major label debut single “Used to Love You Sober” to the top of the iTunes Country charts and to more than 3 million streams on Spotify. Released in 2016\, Kane’s co-penned EP Chapter 1 followed suit\, hitting the #1 spot on the iTunes country and overall albums chart and claiming the No. 3 spot on the Billboard Country albums chart.

SUMMARY:For Today - The Farewell Tour
DESCRIPTION:After over 11 years as a band\, 6 full length albums and 1 EP\, we have decided to make 2016 the last year of For Today. When we started this band in 2005\, we never imagined that our music would make it out of Sioux City\, Iowa\, let alone take us all around the world multiple times. Our lives have been hugely impacted by the time we’ve spent making music and touring. We met our wives\, had kids and moved to different states because of For Today. It’s been an incredible experience\, but we feel like now is the time to close this chapter of our lives and move on. There’s no behind the scenes drama happening or disagreements between band members. We’re all still best friends and will continue to be long after the band is over. \nWe want to thank everybody who has made this possible\, especially the fans who have kept us going for so many years. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re doing an extensive farewell tour\, hitting all our favorite cities in the country\, as well as some international dates. Come hang out with us one last time and let’s make these last shows some that we’ll never forget!

SUMMARY:Kevin Devine & the Goddamn Band
DESCRIPTION:Singer and songwriter Kevin Devine has won a loyal following in indie rock and emo circles for his emotionally urgent songs of love\, life\, and politics. Devine was born in Brooklyn\, New York on December 19\, 1979. After graduating from high school\, he enrolled at Fordham University to study journalism\, but in 1999 his priorities turned to music; he began performing solo at coffeehouses and open-mike nights\, and soon he and Chris McAllen\, a friend since high school\, formed the emo band Miracle of ’86 (the name came from the unexpected World Series victory by the New York Mets in that year). Miracle of ’86 earned a potent following on the New York/New Jersey indie rock scene\, but it didn’t take long for Devine to begin thinking outside of the band’s boundaries. In 2002\, he released his first solo album\, Circle Gets the Square\, and began playing solo shows in addition to his dates with the group. In 2003\, he would drop a three-song EP\, Travelling the EU\, and a second full-length solo album\, Make the Clocks Move (informed by the death of his father and the 2004 presidential race)\, before Miracle of ’86 finally broke up. In 2005\, Devine released his first post-Miracle of ’86 album\, Split the Country\, Split the Street; produced by two of Devine’s former associates from the group\, Chris Bracco and Mike Skinner; the album moved back and forth between uptempo rock and quieter\, more contemplative songs. In 2006\, Devine scored a major-label deal with Capitol Records and\, working with producer Rob Schnapf (who had collaborated with one of Devine’s key influences\, Elliott Smith)\, made Put Your Ghost to Rest. The album earned enthusiastic reviews\, but several months after its release\, a merger between Capitol and Virgin Records scuttled its marketing\, and Devine was dropped from the label. However\, the album soon gained a second life when it was reissued in 2008 by the indie imprint Junketboy\, and Devine toured in support of the new release. In 2009\, he returned with his next album\, Brother’s Blood\, released by Electric Gentlemen Records; he toured in support of it backed by his sometime touring ensemble the Goddamn Band\, and with the group the Manchester Orchestra as opening act. The tour went so well that Devine and members of Manchester Orchestra formed a side project\, Bad Books\, who who released their self-titled debut album in the fall of 2010. In the fall of 2011\, Devine returned as a solo act with the album Between the Concrete and Clouds\, produced by Chris Bracco and mixed by Rob Schnapf; it was also Devine’s first album is a co-release arrangement with Razor & Tie and Electric Gentlemen. In 2012\, Devine reunited with Bad Books for the concisely titled Bad Books II. In early 2013\, Devine joined the growing number of artists who turned to crowdfunding to finance their recording projects rather than rely on record labels; he launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $50\,000 in order to produce two albums\, and the target figure was reached in less than a day. After raising $114\,000\, Devine completed and self-released two albums in the fall of 2013: Bulldozer\, a solo album produced by Rob Schnapf\, and Bubblegum\, a collaboration with the Goddamn Band produced by Jesse Lacey. Along with extensive global touring in support of the two albums\, Devine also found time to take part in a handful of reunion shows with his Miracle of ’86 bandmates\, one a benefit for survivors of Hurricane Sandy.

SUMMARY:The Black Queen
DESCRIPTION:A kind of power synth pop trio\, The Black Queen began in casual fashion and developed into a full-blown band treated by its members as much more than an extracurricular project. In 2011\, Greg Puciato\, Dillinger Escape Plan’s vocalist\, and Steven Alexander\, a seasoned tech (DEP\, Nine Inch Nails\, Ke$ha)\, began working on material with one another that deviated significantly from the former’s main band. \nLater in the year\, Joshua Eustis (NIN\, Puscifer) was added to the fold\, after Puciato crossed paths with the multi-instrumentalist\, producer\, and songwriter at a Puscifer gig. Puciato’s interests had long involved electronic music — his primary band had covered songs by Massive Attack\, Depeche Mode\, and even Aphex Twin — and he admired Eustis’ output with Telefon Tel Aviv. The two also shared a love for R&B\, a genre detectable throughout Eustis’ recorded history. \nWithin a couple years\, Puciato\, Alexander\, and Eustis were deeply involved in The Black Queen\, living with one another in Los Angeles\, and supporting each other through bleak personal matters. \nIn 2015\, they debuted The Black Queen with the ballad “The End Where We Start” and quickly followed it with the relatively uptempo “Ice to Never\,” a pair of singles that were closer in construction to Telefon Tel Aviv’s Immolate Yourself than anything by Dillinger Escape Plan. Additionally\, these songs featured some of Puciato’s most melodic and restrained vocal performances without sacrificing any feeling. Fever Daydream\, their debut album\, was released in January 2016.

SUMMARY:Enslaved
DESCRIPTION:Enslaved was formed in 1991 by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson\, and did their first demo “Yggdrasill” in the summer of 1992\, while the legendary mini-album “Hordanes Land” was released the year after in 1993. Enslaved’s debut “Vikingligr Veldi” came in the spring of 1994\, while the successful second album “Frost” was released already winter 1994. In many ways “Eld” (’97) marked the opening of a horizon-widening era for the band\, with a small detour on “Blodhemn” the following year: Enslaved’s most furious and black-edged effort to date. “Mardraum (Beyond the Within)” was released in 2000; taking on an experimental and innovative approach for Extreme Metal. The band followed up with “Monumension” in 2001; receiving more (pleasantly) surprising positive response to their “no rules” approach to Extreme Metal. Many see an important milestone being “Below the Lights” (’03) – where the progressive yet darker Enslaved emerged. A new line-up was put together after the recording of “Below the Lights”\, marking the opening of a new\, shimmering chapter. \nThe new line-up released the album “Isa” in late 2004\, and the album put Enslaved at the very forefront of contemporary Extreme Metal; both as a recording and live artist – proving the latter with the release of acclaimed live-DVD “Return to Yggdrasill”. “Ruun” was released in 2006\, and received numerous great reviews from fans\, magazines and websites worldwide. Early 2007 Enslaved sat out on their first full tour through USA and Canada since the late 90s; following up with treks all over Europe and more North America. Back in the studio the band conjured up “Vertebrae” (’08) together with mixer Joe Baresi – an album that spread across the globe like fire with extensive promotion and extensive touring. More inspired than ever the band worked on a new album throughout 2009\, and started recording during the first weeks of 2010. The band’s first co-operation with mixer Jens Bogren; “Axioma Ethica Odini” received Enslaved’s 4th consecutive Norwegian Grammy in the Metal category (“Isa”\, “Ruun” and “Vertebrae” receiving the three previous awards). \nEnslaved released two exclusive EPs during 2011 (“The Sleeping Gods” 10” and “Thorn” 7”). Never ones for resting\, Enslaved worked intensely with an album throughout all of this – and in 2012 they inked a worldwide deal with leading label Nuclear Blast Records. This all resulted in Enslaved’s groundbreaking 2012-album “Riitiir”\, followed up throughout 2013\, which became a year of expansion for Enslaved – with North American and European tours\, and of course more festival appearances around the world. It also became the year when Enslaved finally made its way down under to Australia\, a highly memorable and successful endeavor. Upon returning at the end of the year\, songwriting once again commenced and 2014 were set to be the year when Enslaved took yet another step up\, out\, forward and whatever directions there are. The year started with supporting Swedish brother-in-beards Amon Amarth. Then the summer and autumn two highly public commissioned pieces in Norway\, and recording a new album. 2015 was one of the bands busiest years; festivals were being played en masse\, Enslaved’s own Ivar Bjørnson curated Roadburn 2015 and the new album “In Times” and its accompanying tours has set a new precedence for what progressive Extreme Metal can be. True Norwegian Innovation\, in short. \n2016 is the band’s 25th anniversary – anything can and will happen!

SUMMARY:Children of Bodom - I Worship Chaos Tour
DESCRIPTION:Fully 20 years into the tough\, heroic grind that represents the lifeblood of extreme musicians\, Finland metal scientists Children of Bodom have certainly won over crowds globally through a crafted alloy that is theirs alone. But the building of their esteemed career has also been aided and abetted by the simple math of all that work\, the intense touring\, that inevitable return visit to your town that has made the band’s shows engaging\, personable and energetic thrash parties indelibly stamped on the circuit boards of headbangers worldwide. \nThe party continues\, with the release of the band’s ninth album\, I Worship Chaos\, which finds guitar hero for a new generation Alexi Lahio recording for the first time in a four-piece configuration given the sudden and recent departure of long-time co-guitarist Roope Latvala from the ranks. \nSays Alexi\, “It was hard because we’ve never been the kind of a band who changes members every other week. So all of a sudden you are one family member short. I was obviously on double duty\, because I had to record all the guitars. But I didn’t even care\, man; we just went and got everything done. And I think us parting ways with him has made us strive and pull together as a group\, which was a beautiful thing\, really. Because it felt like we were teenagers again making our first album. Plus it made the guitars tighter. It’s not like I’m talking shit about Roope or anything\, but it’s just a scientific fact that if there’s one guy playing everything\, it tends to get tighter. And I’m definitely happy with the result.” \nIf there’s an increased level of heaviness rippling and rifling through I Worship Chaos\, it might be because the album is constructed with guitars that are tuned a half step lower. All told\, says Alexi\, “The mission will always be to get as heavy as possible\, but also try to improve as musicians and as songwriters. Honestly\, this is the strongest COB album in a long\, long fucking time. We just wanted to change things up a bit. I think the album has a darker vibe than the previous ones\, especially Halo of Blood—it is definitely heavier\, as well as darker as far as the melodies go. It’s got a lot of sadness and hurt and anger in it. Which sounds like\, hey\, what else is new? But it really is different (laughs).”

SUMMARY:Snarky Puppy
DESCRIPTION:With every new project—hell\, with every show they play—Snarky Puppy hopes to do something they’ve never done before. With their new album\, Family Dinner\, Volume 2\, the eclectic\, unclassifiable jazz/funk/global collective has set their sights higher than ever. \n“We had a wish list of artists we wanted to collaborate with from a wide array of styles\,” says bassist/composer/producer Michael League. “We tried to come up with different demographics\, nationalities\, even age groups. Beyond that\, we wanted to write arrangements that not only the band would really shine on\, but would also truly capture the essence of each artist.” \nThe result is a free-wheeling\, wide-ranging collection\, recorded live in New Orleans\, featuring an astonishing list of musicians from around the world\, including Susana Baca\, Charlie Hunter\, Salif Keita\, Laura Mvula\, David Crosby\, and an all-star group of Big Easy players including Ivan Neville and Terence Blanchard. Various combinations of the three-dozen members of Snarky Puppy act as the house band for an unprecedented journey through different sounds\, genres\, and cultures.

SUMMARY:The Wall Theatrical Extravaganza
DESCRIPTION:THE WALL THEATRICAL EXTRAVAGANZA arrives in 2016 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd. Utilizing staged elements from “The Wall” movie as well as from the legendary concerts in New York & London in 1981\, the historic Berlin concert in 1990 & the many Roger Waters variations – TWTE renders an amazing re imagining of one of rock music’s true masterworks\, that succeeds equally on a Broadway theater level\, as well as an arena rock “Floydian” spectacle.

SUMMARY:Rob Schneider
DESCRIPTION:Emmy-nominated actor Rob Schneider is known the world over for his trademark blend of character and comedic acting. Schneider recently inked a deal with TRiCon Films and Television for the international distribution of his new television comedy series\, “Real Rob.” The self-financed\, eight-episode\, independently produced comedy series was directed\, co-written and stars Schneider with his real life wife\, Mexican television producer Patricia Azarcoya. “Real Rob” comes two years after “Rob\,” the CBS sitcom that Schneider also wrote\, produced\, and starred in. CBS’s “Rob” premiered to an audience of 13.5 million viewers and averaged 11 million viewers over the run of its 8 episodes. When CBS chose not to pick up the show\, Schneider said\, “Eleven million viewers is not enough for them\, it’s enough for me. I’ll do it myself.” Schneider is the first actor to have written\, produced\, starred\, directed and self-financed an entire season of a television show. The second season of “Real Rob” will begin production in summer 2015. \nSchneider is currently filming The Ridiculous Six with Adam Sandler. The Ridiculous Six will be the first feature film distributed by Netflix. This film marks the eighteenth collaboration between the Sandler and Schneider. Their longtime friendship has spanned some twenty-five years and produced comedic hits such as Grown Ups\, You Don’t Mess With The Zohan\, 50 First Dates\, Big Daddy and The Waterboy. Sandler’s production company\, Happy Madison\, produced several films written by and starring Schneider\, including Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo\, which was the second highest grossing DVD in the US in 2000\, The Hot Chick and The Animal. Schneider has appeared in 50 films. He has co-starred with Sylvester Stallone\, Rachael McAdams\, Steve Buscemi\, David Carradine\, Jean-Claude Van Damme\, Kelsey Grammer\, David Spade\, Kevin James\, Chris Rock and M. Emmet Walsh\, among many others. Schneider’s films have grossed over $2.6 billion in North America alone. \nIn 2009\, after a nearly twenty-year hiatus\, Schneider made his return to stand-up comedy. He has released two albums since then\, Registered Offender and Soy Sauce and the Holocaust\, and has received rave reviews for his international comedy tours. Schneider began writing jokes as a teenager\, appearing at local comedy clubs such as the “Holy City Zoo\,” made famous by Robin Williams. Schneider made his major network television debut in 1987 performing stand-up on “The David Letterman Show.” In 1989 Lorne Michaels saw Schneider’s appearance on HBO’s “13th Annual Young Comedians Special” and hired him as a writer on “Saturday Night Live.” Schneider quickly became a regular. During his four seasons at “SNL\,” Schneider created characters that people around the country imitated and adored\, including the “copy machine guy\,” the “orgasm guy\,” and the “put your weed in there guy.” He performed memorable sketches with Charlton Heston\, John Malkovich\, Macaulay Culkin\, Christopher Walken\, Jeff Goldblum\, Joe Pesci and others. As part of the SNL writing staff\, Schneider was nominated for three Emmys and won a Peabody Award. Schneider\, born and raised in Northern California\, has been a lifelong San Francisco Giants baseball fan. In each of their three World Series Championship runs\, Rob was asked to come out onto the field and cheer the team and its fans to victory. Rob lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife Patricia and their daughter Miranda.
