White Russians are the ceremonial beverage of choice and fans of all ages and walks of life get together for this event where the focus is the fans\, also known as “Achievers” – and proud we are of all of them. \nLebowski Fest has hosted some far-out bands over the years including My Morning Jacket\, They Might Be Giants\, Kyle Gass Band\, Dr. Dog as well as Achiever comedians like Brian Posehn and Rob Riggle. The annual event is held every summer in Louisville\, Kentucky. Lebowski Fest has been featured on Nightline\, Ace of Cakes and has been written up in everything from SPIN Magazine to the New York Times and Rolling Stone. There is a feature-length documentary about Lebowski Fest\, “The Achievers: The Story of Big Lebowski Fans” and a book\, “I’m a Lebowski\, You’re a Lebowski” – a fan book written by the founders of Lebowski Fest which has been translated into German\, Turkish and Italian. There appears to be no end in sight for Lebowski Fest as new Achievers are discovering Lebowski Fest every day. The online community of Achievers is nearly 100\,000 and growing steadily. Lebowski Fest is a festival by the fans\, for the fans and is not affiliated with the creators of the film.

DESCRIPTION:THE MARC S. ZEPLIN FOUNDATION honors the memory of Marc Scott Zeplin\, who lost his life on September 11\, 2001\, while working at Cantor Fitzgerald in the World Trade Center’s North Tower. Among those left behind were his two young children. The foundation pays tribute to Marc and his love for children\, by supporting children’s charities and providing scholarship programs. All proceeds from this benefit concert will go toward the foundation in Marc’s honor\, as we celebrate his life\, the love for his family and his passion for music. This year’s event will specifically benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering’s Pediatric Care Unit and The Marc Zeplin Scholarship Fund. www.marczeplin.com
