DESCRIPTION:This Friday\, HBO will be premiering the final installment of the Foo Fighters documentary series Sonic Highways. The series finale finds the band recording a track from the album of the same name in New York City and diving into the rich musical history of The Big Apple. Foo Fighters will be celebrating with a performance at the intimate confines of NYC’s Irving Plaza on Friday night. \nTickets for the show will go on sale this Friday\, December 5\, aka the same day of the show\, at the Irving Plaza Box Office only and they will be $20 each. Tickets are strictly limited to two per person and fans are advised to wait until 3pm to begin lining up. Tickets will be available at 5pm\, followed by doors opening at 7pm. The NYC installment of Sonic Highways will air in the venue at 9pm\, at the conclusion of which the Foo Fighters will take the stage!

Head out to Rockefeller Center\, between W. 48th & W. 51st Streets and Fifth & Sixth Avenues\, to join tens of thousands of fellow revelers as they crowd the sidewalks and watch the tree lighting\, as well as special live musical performances. \nIf you’re unable to make it out for the tree lighting\, or just don’t want to brave the crowds\, don’t worry! The tree lighting will be broadcast December 3rd on NBC at 8pm\, and the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree will remain lit until January 7th\, 2015 at 8pm.
