Kickstarter presents A Day of Music

Join us for a day of music at Kickstarter! RSVP for free live performances by The Chapin Sisters, Build, Kim Boekbinder, and Kevin Devine. Give yourself time to browse the stacks at the WFMU-curated record fair and check out the sets by their resident DJs… And stick around for a screening of the Kickstarter-funded WFMU documentary “Sex and Broadcasting.”

RECORD FAIR
12:30–8 PM WMFU will curate a record fair for vinyl enthusiasts and music lovers of all stripes. Free entry all day.

PERFORMANCES
1:00PM The Chapin Sisters, Abigail and Lily Chapin, are folk-rock, singer-songwriter sisters known for their pristine harmonies and haunting melodies.

3:00PM Build is a Brooklyn-based instrumental band whose work draws upon minimalist chamber music, rock, modal jazz, American fiddle music, experimentalism, and film music.

5:00PM Kim Boekbinder is world-traveling, paradigm-shifting, genre-defying performer, composer, and musician.

7:00PM Kevin Devine is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter and contemporary indie rock powerhouse.

SCREENING
8:30 PM Sex and Broadcasting, a music documentary on WFMU.
