Central Park Film Festival: The Blues Brothers

In 1980, Central Park Conservancy was founded by a group of concerned citizens determined to reverse the decline of Central Park. On the eve of their 35th Anniversary, they look back at that time to reflect on how far they’ve come.

The theme: Classic films of 1980, the year the Conservancy was founded.

Located on the landscape between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Gates open at 6:30pm, movies begin at 8:00pm.

Films will screen rain or shine. A DJ will perform from 6:30-8:00pm. The Film Festival is free. All films are open captioned. Bring a picnic and a blanket.
