Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (often abbreviated as BRMC) is an American rock band from San Francisco, CA. The group consists of Peter Hayes (vocal, guitar), Robert Levon Been (vocal, bass, guitar), and Leah Shapiro (drums). They have released seven studio albums: B.R.M.C. (2001), Take Them On, On Your Own (2003), Howl (2005), Baby 81 (2007), The Effects of 333 (2008), Beat the Devil’s Tattoo (2010), and Specter at the Feast (2013), and several EPs, and live albums. They are influenced by bands such as: The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Verve, The Rolling Stones,T. Rex, The Velvet Underground, The Call, Love and Rockets, Daniel Ash, and The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Death from Above 1979 are a Canadian rock duo from Toronto, Ontario.[1] The duo consists of Sebastien Grainger (vocals, drums, percussion) and Jesse F. Keeler (bass guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). Their first full-length album, You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine, was released in late 2004 on Last Gang Records. The band broke up in 2006, but announced a reunion in 2011. Their second album, The Physical World, was released in September 2014.
