Spanning genres between jazz, Latin, world music, R&B and pop, multiple Grammy-winner Kenny G is known for his trademark soprano sax, his long, curly locks and his remarkable success on adult contemporary and smooth jazz radio stations since the mid-1980s. The last two of his more than 20 album releases were the R&B-tinged Heart and Soul, which featured guest vocals from Robin Thicke and Babyface, and Namaste, his collaboration with Indian vocalist Rahul Sharma. He’s also responsible for the biggest-selling pop instrumental disc of all time, 1992’s Breathless, which sold more than 12 million copies. See him live when he plays The Town Hall as part of the Blue Note Jazz Festival.
