[mashshare]

The music festival took off for weekend two and dedicated fans were back at it despite scorching hot temperatures. The final weekend of the 16th annual event was full of today’s funkiest artist from all avenues like headlines AC/DC, DMX, FKA Twigs, and The Weeknd. The audience went crazy when Kanye West took the stage and Jack White surprised everyone as well with his electrifying set.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from R&B singer Ciara, as she is a new mom, but on Friday she showed those out in the fields that she still has it. She made her debut during DJ R3hab’s set and performed his remixed version of her new song “I Bet,” and then “Get Up!,” another new banger that she recorded with R3hab. Ciara’s post-baby performance showed everyone that she is back and her magnificent footwork proved that she just doesn’t skip a beat. Now lately when we hear about DMX it’s in regards to legal matters, but he randomly came out at the dance tent during DJ Snake, and the Yonkers native took us back in time as if it were the year 2000. He had the whole crowd bumping during his medley, especially when he did chart soaring hits like “Party Up (Up In Here)” and “Ruff Ryders Anthem.”

The looks on the faces of those in the audience when The Weeknd welcomed Kanye West to the stage were priceless. The Chicago rapper recited some of his most notable raps during his small set like “Cant Tell Me Nothin’,” “Black Skinhead,” and his most recent hit “All Day.” Though not on this years line up, the rapper/producer took the stage Saturday night and you would have thought we were on a Yeezus tour.

The crowd was graced with the presence of Yeezus once again on Sunday night when he hit the stage and performed his verse on “Aloes An Danse” with French pop star Stromae. The electro artist along with Kanye had all the concert goers going wild!

More From Weekend 2

There was tons of coolness to go around at Coachella for its last weekend. Tinashe sung alongside Ryan Hemsworth on Friday Afternoon, and Jack White nearly had the whole crowd chanting “Music is sacred!” during his surprise set Saturday. The guitarist and singer showcased tons of hits from his 2014 album “Lazaretto,” and a few of The White Stripes songs like “Cannon,” and “Hotel Yorba.” His final song was White Stripe’s “Seven Nation Army,” way to bring it home Jack!

Came for the crab fries, stayed for the sets.

This year tons of household improvements have been made to the overall festival making the experience so much more enjoyable and convenient. Credit cards were accepted at all food, drink and retail mini-shops and free Wi-Fi was accessible all throughout, including beer gardens and VIP areas! There were more food choices and over 300 permanent toilets built on-site prior to the festival this year…Talk about an upgrade!
