While Revolution, Culture Room and C&I Studios serve as the last bastions of live music in Fort Lauderdale, festivals are filling the void created by the lack of a good large-scale venue in this city.

Tortuga most recently, which took place on the beach in April and the upcoming returning Lauderdale Live music festival that’s happening right in the heart of downtown on June 20th and 21st. While Tortuga brought big names in country, Lauderdale Live will provide South Floridians with entertainment from national acts new and old like Phillip Phillips, Ben Rector, Sister Hazel and O.A.R. and more obscure musicians that are still worth checking out including Dumstaphunk, Drew Holcomb & the Neighbors and Emily Kopp among others.
