The 87th Academy Awards Nominations for the 2015 Oscars are in!

The Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman lead the pack with nine nominations each, including best picture.

This year’s best picture nominees include many heart-filled stories of truth. These biopics show the lives and struggles of Alan Turing, Martin Luther King Jr., Stephen Hawking, and American hero Chris Kyle. Boyhood takes viewers on the real-life journey of a family, filmed with the same cast over the course of 12 years. Other best picture nominees include Birdman, the story of an actor who once played a superhero, and The Grand Budapest Hotel, the story of a hotel concierge and a family fortune.
