Winston Foster a.k.a Yellowman or King Yellowman is a Reggae artist best known for his work as a DJ. Yellowman’s road to success hasn’t been the smoothest of rides- he’d been abandoned by his parents as a child, shunned by many due to his albinism, and banned from the radio among other things. In fact, the inspiration for his stage name “Yellowman” comes from his albino complexion.

If that wasn’t enough on his plate of life, he was diagnosed with skin cancer and given 3 more years to live. Several surgeries and 32 years later, Yellowman is still kickin’ it today and is as active as ever in music.
