Coney Island Amphitheater

The newly renovated Ford Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk just opened on July 4th, 2016! This 5,000 seat covered open air venue is the first of its kind to open in the Tri-State area. Many family shows, sports, comedy, multicultural events, and concerts will be held here over the summer months into late September. The Ford Amphitheater will be operated and promoted by Live Nation and is the new permanent home of the Seaside Summer Concert Series. Live Nation has partnered with the Seaside Summer Concert Series to bring some of the biggest acts to Coney Island. While some concerts are free to the public and some require purchasing tickets, all events are ticketed. A majority of the tickets are released at the Coney Island Box Office two days before the concert at noon while tickets for a select few events are released an hour prior to the show with a limit of 2 tickets per person distributed on a first come first serve basis. The Beach Boys opened the venue with special guest John Stamos on July 4th in partnership with the Seaside Summer Concert Series. Over the course of the summer of 2016, Live Nation will bring Fifth Harmony, Travis Scott, New Kids on the Block, and more great performers to Coney Island. Enjoy a day at the beach, stroll the boardwalk, ride the Cyclone, then top the night off with amazing live music!
