Five Hundredth Year has sufficiently gotten my attention, and it’s mostly due to the fact that they’re an intense metal band with female vocal accompaniment. Yes, exactly. Their single “Breaking Point” is your quintessential metal song that’s full of heavy guitar chords, crashing drums and cymbals, and a variety of different vocalizing yet has the added pleasure of harmonization between the male and female leads. It’s different than any other metal song you’ve heard before to say the least.
