Today rapper J. Cole premiered the music video for “Wet Dreamz,” the third music video from 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and it certainly is creative to say the least. The song, which was completely produced by J. Cole himself, tells his story of the anticipation leading up to his virginity. The catch is, the girl that he has been crushing on does not know that he is still a virgin. Throughout the whole song he raps about his journey to basically get things done without his crush knowing the truth. 

In the video the story is visually told using two dogs, one male one female, who are in what we like to call “Puppy Love.” The video lines up a perfect play by play of the super cute pups and the lyrics to show the progression of the song. In the rap J.Cole talks about the thoughts in his head and actions he took towards preparing for his big moment and we see this same thing with the dogs leading up to their dog fun.

The video ends by showing Cole’s feet in bed with a lady, but all we see is their feet and legs. The dogs could have been representative of J.Cole and his female companion that we see towards the end, either way nicely done!
