‘Jurassic World’ Takes Over Theaters

Universal studios predicted that ‘Jurassic World’ would generate $204.6 million domestically, they were close!

Believe it or not there were a ton of movie-goers who went to check out the film on Sunday. This is shocking as the NBA Finals and the season finale of HBO’s ‘Game of Thrones’ aired the night of June 14. Box office analysts believe that people may have chose Sunday as movie night in hopes of avoiding the huge crowd on Friday and Saturday night.

Universal released the film in 4,274 theaters, the largest in studio history. Most analysts believed that ‘Jurassic World’ would open with between $125 million and $135 million.
