THIRDSTORY combines the talents of three singer/songwriters Richard Saunders, Elliott Skinner and Ben Lusher. Emerging out of the New York music scene, they joined their diverse backgrounds and influences to form a truly unique sound. Influenced by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young as much as Amy Winehouse, THIRDSTORY posted their first acoustic cover video online in late 2014 and quickly gathered a viral following. Since then, THIRDSTORY has been performing sold out shows across the country at venues such as the Bowery Ballroom in New York and Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles. THIRDSTORY is currently writing and recording original music for their debut album. As the group trades verses, instruments, and harmonies, it becomes clear that THIRDSTORY is much more than a vocal group – it’s a collective of three of the most distinctive voices in NYC soul music today.
