Brooklyn’s own viral metal trio Unlocking the Truth took the stage with legendary goth artist Marilyn Manson this past weekend in Pennsylvania to perform his hit “The Beautiful People.”

It’s been a huge year for the band and they show no signs of slowing down. Prior to performing with Marilyn Manson, Unlocking the Truth had already opened for Guns N’ Roses, Motorhead, Queens of the Stone Age, and Living Colour. They were the youngest band to play Coachella, on the main stage no less, as well as playing at the AFROPUNK FEST, SxSW, and the 2014 Vans Warped Tour.

They’ve signed a five-album, $1.8 million deal with Sony (in partnership with Artery), which had to be approved by the New York Supreme Court due to their ages, and are now preparing to release their debut album, titled Free As You Want To Be, later this year.
